Opening Times We operate during Term-time only:
ManagementWalkington Pre-School is run by an elected committee of unpaid volunteers. This ensures that major decisions are in the hands of the parents who use the group. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions to put to the committee please email the chairperson@walkingtonpreschool.org.
TrainingMembership of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and contact with East Riding of Yorkshire Council ensures that we are constantly in touch with new thinking in the field of child education and care. On-going training and information sessions are available for both staff and parents.
FeesPlease contact the Pre-School directly to discuss the current fee structure. Fees are payable at the beginning of each half-term.
CurriculumWithin the group all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace. By means of developmentally appropriate play activities and a high level of individual adult input, we offer a curriculum which enables children to progress towards the early learning goals throughout the Foundation Stage. It prepares them for the National Curriculum which begins in Year 1 at Primary School.

Special Educational NeedsWe aim to provide equality of opportunity for all members of our group, and this includes children with special educational needs. We are experienced in working in close liaison with professionals across the range of special needs. We operate in accordance with the government’s Code of Practice on special educational needs. |
